Methodology

There is no single official file of every job × every country × every age. PayLens combines observations and never presents an estimate as an official statistic.

What a number is

• A — official, no more than two years old.
• B — official, older, brought forward with a wage index, not CPI alone.
• C — ILO or Eurostat harmonized series under a common definition.
• D — modelled from a parent ISCO group or a typical occupation relativity. Calculator only; not sold as official.

Calculator rules

Hourly, weekly and monthly amounts are annualised with the hours you enter (default 40 × 52, or 12 months). Net pay is accepted but labelled: official series are gross. Cross-country “feel” uses PPP, not FX. Global rank is a range, never a fake exact world position. Age curves are cross-sections: “workers in the next band currently earn X% more” is not a promised raise.

Privacy

The calculator runs in your browser. Typed salaries are not sent to a server.
